  8. Sure -- you've still got a telnet session busy trying to read your mail
  9. on your host machine.  Log in there (telnet or otherwise) and kill
  10. that process (you don't say if your host is a UNIX machine, so I won't
  11. get into details).  This can happen when your client times out while
  12. waiting for acknowledgement from the POP server; bummer, eh?
